CARE & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Our reed diffusers offer a safe, flame-free way to freshen up your living space with a pure and natural fragrance. They are available in 100ml and 200ml black matte bottles with either 6 or 10 premium reeds. Below are the guidelines for proper use and care to ensure you get the most out of your diffuser while keeping your space safe. Please take a minute to carefully read our care and safety instructions before using your beautiful new reed diffuser.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Initial Setup:
Upon first use, insert the reed sticks into the diffuser oil and allow them to soak for at least one hour. After this, flip the reeds to ensure the top part of the reeds is saturated with oil. This helps accelerate the diffusion process.
Regular Use:
Flip the reeds every 6-7 days to refresh the fragrance flow. The regular rotation of the reeds helps maintain a consistent scent, but please note that frequent flipping can shorten the longevity of the diffuser.
Adjust for Space:
For smaller spaces, you can use just 3-5 reeds to prevent the scent from becoming too overpowering. For larger spaces or a stronger fragrance throw, we recommend using 6-10 reeds.
Expected Longevity:
- 100ml Bottle: Approximately 3 months of fragrance.
- 200ml Bottle: Approximately 6 months of fragrance.
- The diffuser’s lifespan depends on factors such as the number of reeds used, airflow around the diffuser, and the ambient temperature.
We recommend starting with 3 or 4 reeds & replacing/adding new reeds at halfway point eg. 1 1/2 months or 3 month mark.
Placement Tips:
- Choose a location where the diffuser will not be knocked over or tampered with, especially by curious children or pets.
- Keep your reed diffuser away from electrical appliances and open flames, as the liquid may cause damage or pose a risk if spilled.
- Avoid placing your diffuser near direct airflow sources such as fans, air conditioning units, or windows, as this can cause the oil to evaporate more quickly.
Safety Warnings:
- Do not light the diffuser reeds.
- Ensure the diffuser is out of reach of children and pets to prevent accidents.
- Avoid placing the diffuser in high-traffic areas where it may be accidentally knocked over.
- If spilled, clean the area immediately as the liquid may stain surfaces.
- Keep the diffuser away from electrical appliances to prevent damage in case of spills.
- We recommend using gloves or similar when handling the reed sticks. Wash hands immediately after contact with diffuser liquid.
- Do not drink or consume reed diffuser liquid.
