Midjourney request

In this instance I have requested that it create a floral teapot, tea cup and saucer watercolor image - you could add in an era such as Victorian Era inspired floral teapot, teacup and saucer watercolor image the ideas are limitless.

Once you have settled on your idea - press enter. The below text or similar will appear

Midjourney prompt
It may take a few seconds to create your images - Midjourney creates 4 potential images for you.
Midjourney images to work with
Note: If you click on the images they will enlarge so you can see more detail (in Midjourney).

You can now see 4 different unique AI images that Midjourney has generated for you. If you look closely at each - and trust me you want to look really carefully at the images - for example bottom right (4) has 2 spouts. Images 1 & 3 have two cups - image 2 is the closest to what I am looking for so that's the one I am going to work with.
Once you have made your selection Click on the corresponding upscale button U1, U2, U3 or U4. If you don't like any of the images you can ask it to try again and create a different version by clicking V1 etc.
For this example I am selecting to upscale image 2 so I click on U2 and wait.
The image below should appear shortly. You can see you now have a few extra options, the best way to learn is to just play around with each of the buttons.
Upscaling and Editing on Midjourney

For this example I don't want the flower situated on the top of the teapot so I am going to select - vary (region).

Midjourney Vary Region

Using either to box or the lasso located on the bottom right (I'm choosing the box) select the area you want to Midjourney to change. Once you have selected all the areas you want to change click on the arrow - bottom right.

Midjourney will now try again and will again produce 4 image options for you.

Image Options Edited

Select the one that you like best (I'm going to choose image 2 - which is the top right image), again press the relevant upscale option eg U2.

Save completed image

Right click on the image and save to your desktop. We'll need it in a minute.
